Two years ago I joined the @directorsguildofamerica. Last fall my first movie, @axisfilm, came out in theaters, then on @iTunes and @amazonprimevideo. And this year, I’m getting ready to direct my second feature. I am so thrilled to be hosting an award show in front of directors I admire and respect so deeply, and whom I hope to emulate every day.

I’m also super excited to drop a couple f-bombs in front of Spike Lee, then blame it on Adam McKay’s superlative ventriloquism skills. Dreams do come true, people!
