Wednesday Wools. No doubt you know all about cashmere… but can you distinguish between lambswool and merino? Read on for a lesson in wool school. #LinkInBio

#MerinoWool — Sourced from a breed of sheep celebrated for its fineness and soft hand. Since it is not coarse like thicker fibers, it is not itchy. We’ve adapted this wool to create a line of innovative, machine washable sweaters as part of our BrooksTech label.

#Lambswool — Collected during the sheep’s first shearing when the lamb is roughly six or seven months old. The fibers are finer so sweaters are warm and very soft.

#Cashmere — Derived from the undercoat of cashmere goats. Though lighter than traditional wool, cashmere is warm and plush. It is more labor-intensive to harvest too, (it can take up to two goats to create one sweater) making it highly prized.
