'Our first #sunset in #Namibia was an epic one! A sundowner game drive through the #Kalahari Desert delivered this classic southern African scene. The Kalahari occupies almost a third of Namibia, but it's not really a desert in the strictest sense of the word – more a savanna. It receives more rainfall than a desert – up to 200mm per year – and supports more animals (such as giraffes) and plants than a true desert.
