Several of you have asked about our tails after yesterday’s video. A mini pig (unlike a farm pig) has a straight tail. When we are born it is very short. The hair on the tail grows with age, so as we get older we develop beautiful tail tassels like you see on Pop in the pigture above. If you look closely, you can see where his tail stops and the rest is just hair. He is five, so that is five years of growth. We wag them just like dogs when we are happy and excited, and Silly Pop likes to twist his up sometimes like a farm pig (like he did at the end of yesterday’s video).
