Happy #NationalDiscJockeyDay. I told a funny story during an interview I did with Gael Love for @INTERVIEW Magazine. I have a little piece of paper that I framed from a radio program; it said that I was no great shakes, and “I don’t know how she’ll do. She’s not going to do well in AOR. She’s definitely going to have a problem with Top 40.” I can’t say who said it but I framed it and put it next to my gold and platinum records. I’m glad they were wrong and I’m so grateful to all the DJs, MDs, and PDs who gave me a shot. Thank you. ?
