20-year-old Greek star, Stefanos Tsitsipas, creator of the biggest upset so far at the #ausopen2019, with a win over Roger Federer, the reigning champion. Turns out Tsitsipas has quite the Olympic family background.
His grandfather, Sergei Sergeyevich Salnikov, was part of the Soviet football team that won the gold medal at the 1956 Olympics. Salnikov scored two goals in the quarterfinal match against Indonesia. To add to the sporting family history, his mother was a world number 1 junior tennis player.
