On Tuesday, the long-running @tbsnetwork late-night talk show, “Conan,” will return from a 3-month hiatus with a different format. No more desk, a new set and no more house band. Also, the running time has been cut to half an hour. While some of these changes were designed to keep “Conan” competitive, #Conan O’Brien hopes they will also help capture a more unpredictable comic energy.
