Today we would like to announce some good and bad news for the future of the Ballerina Project. First the bad news… 2018 was the last year that we will be creating new content for the Ballerina Project. Without a balanced creative and fiscal pathway to the future it was not possible to carry on with this project. We will continue posting our remaining new content until about March of 2019. Now the good news… To celebrate the conclusion and the 18+ years of the Ballerina Project a beautiful book will hit shelves in the Fall of 2019. Stay tuned for more information on this upcoming book.
Thank you to all the ballerinas that have collaborated with myself to make the Ballerina Project possible. Thank you to all the people from around the world that have followed us throughout the many years of the project.
Here is a preview of the cover of the upcoming Ballerina Project book. The second image is the first ballet image I photographed in 1994 and would become the genesis for the Ballerina Project. The third and last image is from our last shoot of the Ballerina Project photographed in December of 2018.
