What an amazing thing to be a part of this Nashville community while experiencing being nominated for a Grammy. It means something different this time around. It is an honor To be embraced by Music City as an ambassador of my Rock genre, and come together with my fellow musicians of all genres to Celebrate the joy, and power of the art of Music. It’s so easy to get lost in the hustle and insatiable hunger of the music business. So, It’s a beautiful, intangible thing to feel the “Why” of why you do what you do, why you chose the path you chose. Thank you so much to the Nashville Grammy chapter and to all of my peers for the nod of approval, and reminding me that this crazy idea I had when I was 13 years old to start a band called Halestorm, wasn’t that crazy after all! This is what being nominated for a Grammy means to me.
