@constancerobbins shares how to get the blend and softness of a freehand paint while getting the brightness and impact of a baby light below ?

For this particular client, she likes to keep it way low maintenance since she only gets highlighted twice a year, which is why I wanted to forgo a #shadowroot.
1️⃣ I did an full head of open air balayage, leaving out the sides and top that frame her face. This is where we will be placing the foils.
The first several foils closest to the hairline will be tiny #babylights with barely any hair in between.
2️⃣ Next, I take alternating diagonal thicker weaves and place the product a few inches from the scalp.
3️⃣ I go back and feather the lightener to blend the line to create softness. It’s really important here to alternate your angles to create a more organic finish. ?
