I traveled a lot on my own in my teens/early 20s mostly just for the experience. These days I’m too keen on climbing and usually have a buddy. On this trip I traveled the return of this train journey alone. In only 10 hours of travel I was reminded that traveling alone as a woman in many parts of the world always ends with many instances of the same questions: ‘Are you alone?’ ‘Where are you going?’ ‘Where is your husband?’ I feel lucky to live in countries where no one gives a shit where I go or whether I’m married or not. Seems like a small thing but it’s not. @jonny__baker ?
