Lions will be lions and every now and again there’ll be bites and scratches that occur when scrapping. Delta received a bite to the bum from either Unathi or Icarus. If left untreated the wound will fester and can lead to all sorts of unwanted infections and problems. Fortunately it’s easy to treat such wounds when the lion doesn’t see you as a threat and knows you’re trying to help. Delta doesn’t even flinch when the wound is sprayed.
