I wanted to repost this review from 1999 by @sarahmower_ .. reading this gives me such a feeling of strength! It was true then and it is now .. there’s a feeling of change in the air , of people reacting against prejudice, ignorance and meanness .
I had the same feeling in 1999, while I was preparing my first collection - I thought nothing could be like before .. in hindsight I sometimes asked myself if my feeling had been wrong but reading this made me realise again that it was really what this moment felt like .. and it does feel like that again right now ??
