The brand new, white @メルセデス・ベンツ W25 was ready to race, but when the car was weighed it was one single kilogram over the 750kg limit... The next day, Manfred von Brauchitsch took to the track, the aluminium body of his W25 sparkling in silver. The night before, the car’s white lead paint had been removed from the bodywork. Von Brauchitsch won the race, and the legend of the Silver Arrows was born... ?
