"To get this shot, I set the camera up on a tripod and balanced my bike in the puddle to get a focus point - using a stick (placed just out of shot) as a reference point for when I needed to fire the shutter. To remotely fire the camera I used a pair of triggers, one of which was mounted to my handlebars and a home made release button in easy reach of my left thumb. It took several attempts to get the shot with the water splashing and forming an X in the reflection - and it didn’t stop pouring with rain the whole time I was out!".
