A label only means something if you let it. There are moments where you get so deep into what your doing you only see it as a small microcosm, but some days we have to take a step back. Today an article was posted about me by @サザビーズ and it says I am the Warhol of this generation, “ Tyler Shields. Considered the Andy Warhol of his generation, Shields has produced images that play with notions of the gaze, power structures, hyper-realism, iconoclastic-tendencies and cinematographic practice, but his Mouthful series of works are among his best known.” This is not a compliment I take lightly. I have posted the link in my description and they have also added an amazing video so please take a moment and check it out. Comparisons in art are always tough but this is one I will take, as it is a huge compliment.
