Winifred is a talented seamstress, but she’s also a teacher, an advocate and an entrepreneur. Born in the tiny northern Quebec village of Kangirsuk, she moved to Montreal to study fashion design, eventually launching her own label. Each weekend she travels to different northern communities, hosting workshops that teach young girls to sew.
