MY CONNECTION WITH LANGUAGES AND MUSIC [part 5]

Shortly after I picked up the guitar, I started taking college classes when I was thirteen. I was class president and in all of the honors classes in middle school, but I still didn’t feel like I was being challenged enough. I took my first college music class around that time, which really helped shape my foundation in learning every instrument. I recommend every musician to take at least that class in college. It’s definitely worth learning.

Finally, we start high school. Before I even started my freshman year, I already decided that high school would not be the place for me. I wanted to graduate early and go to college full time. My sister convinced me to try it for at least one year to see if it’s right for me, so I did. I was still playing the piano and violin with an award-winning orchestra.
