Question to #potterylovers and #potterycollectors — do you use (potentially) valuable pottery? When I moved into my current home which belongs to my mother and was her composition retreat, she left behind some things, including this plate. I’ve used it on occasion (including now...I have Brie on it which I’m snacking on with my glass of wine...) and it has occurred to me on each occasion if I’m being flippant over a potentially valuable piece of pottery. But on that same token, so what if is? Isn’t pottery meant to be used for the purpose it was created for? #randomthoughts #usableart
