In 2018, Dara Khosrowshahi's first full year as CEO, Uber narrowed losses and continued to grow revenue — but at a much slower pace than in the previous year.

On a quarterly basis, Uber continues to report heavy losses and slowing growth. Uber's revenue for the fourth quarter came in at $3 billion, up 25% from the same quarter last year, lower than the 38% it grew in Q3. That’s not viable for most public companies and Uber is expected to go public this year.
