This year’s nominees for the 2019 Photo Contest’s ‘World Press Photo of the Year’ and the new major award, ‘World Press Photo Story of the Year’ will be announced 20 February.

From 21 February - 14 March, Schemidt’s World Press Photo of the Year will be returning to Caracas, the city where it was shot, for the World Press Photo Exhibition 2018. This exhibition features winning photography from the #WPPh2018 Photo Contest.
