(Long post ahead! Please read on and do your part for a good cause ?) A couple months back, I was sent a blank figurine of Marvin the Martian and was asked if I could paint one for charity. I had no idea what to do with it at that point, and was getting increasingly worried as the submission date drew closer!

Two nights before the completed figurine was to be collected - I thought to myself: the one thing we don’t do enough... is smile. Whether it’s the stresses at work, school or our personal lives, we don’t laugh and smile enough. We don’t do the things that make us happy often enough. Most of us don’t get to travel or experience enough. With that in mind, I simply wanted to create something that can make anyone smile at a glance; something that was cheeky and cheerful and bright. This is Marvin the Martian on Vacation!! ? You can see him on display now at @rafflescitysg!
