Came in with the goal of a lil pit stop meet on the way to Vegas Bronze Event & a couple kg total increase, which most definitely did NOT happen, but came out on top and headed to Pan Am Championships in April to keep on building with these Olympic qualifiers. Felt a bit like a bag of trash for clean and jerks, but I’ll take an UGLY 134kg (it was called for pressout... fair call for sure) on a 2 outta 10 feeling day. I had to pull out a lot of grit today. Snatches are feeling good (minus a missed second attempt ?) & I’m pumped to push them a bit more. Excited to get back to training for bigger and better things. -
