I posted some reasons not to wear fur in my stories. I know the images are disturbing but it is the unfortunate reality of a cruel industry. I didn’t used to watch or look at images/videos of this stuff because I found it too upsetting but honestly educating myself has helped me on my journey and exploration into a cruelty free & vegan lifestyle. There are a lot of ways to enjoy fashion without cruelty if you like fluffy stuff and I’m happy to see so many fashion brands stopping the use of it going forward. There are some awesome brands providing luxury faux alternatives and also so many ethical and sustainable companies starting and growing. Check out these cute rescues from @save_a_fox who have escaped a life of abuse in a cage and becoming a jacket. If you’re a fan of fur I hope educating yourself on the industry can change your mind ?
