The Picture this week is from my recent visit to the Sennheiser HQ near Hannover in Germany - I am wearing the most expensive headphones I will probably ever wear - with a price tag of over €50k - what's in my ears at that precise moment is Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" - I had to choose from a list - and they didn't have any Trap or Drill ;) These headphones are so unfathomably luxuriant you listen to them in a sealed black room, the valve amplifier that accompanies it has a Marble casing made from the same marble that Michelangelo's David is hewn from and the valves rise up through the marble like a scene from the movie 2001 A Space Odyssey when you turn it on... any of this week's tracks would have sounded insanely glorious in them, @vaarwell with their honey-coated sweetness, @girlin.red with their youthful indie-ness, @whitedenimmusic with their Shanalana-ness - and a band that, along with many other fans, I was wondering if I would ever hear again - and they're back, back hard, and back awesome after 7 years - @kapbambinofficial ... link in bio
