It’s been five beautiful years in the making. Five years of getting to influence the mythos and public perception of one of the most iconic villains of all time. We’ve created something historic: the first longform Joker origin story on camera in thirty years, and on television ever. We couldn’t have done it without the help, support, and passion of fans. It has been one extraordinary, wild, incredible uphill battle after the other. A huge thanks to Warner Bros, DC, and FOX for letting us sit on this roller coaster. And an equally big thanks to the Gotham cast and crew for creating work with me that I can look back on with pride for the rest of my life.

Tonight will finish the stories of Jerome and Jeremiah Valeska. But with all great ends, new beginnings?
