I convinced Mom to take me on a walk this morning. I achieved this by hissing at Bean repeatedly, circling the house and meowing obnoxiously. Mom knows that these behaviors typically mean I’m restless and want fresh air. Once I saw Mom get my carrier and harness I knew that my efforts worked.
She drove me over to our favorite spot to walk, the cemetery.
Then I refused to leave the carrier.
Then I changed my mind.
Then I refused to walk once out of my carrier, asking to be carried instead and convinced her that a walk was actually not what I was wanting at all.
We got back in the truck and Mom drove us to the beach. I liked this better. We sat and watched the water together, took some selfies and then she gave me treats.
So, moral of the story is, it is possible to train your human. ✔️??
