The Euromaidan Revolution ousted President Victor Yanukovych in 2014 and culminated in the worst day of violence on February 20, which became known as Bloody Thursday. I set up a makeshift photo studio inside the barricades on Hrushevskoho Street, spending a month making hundreds of portraits of the anti-government protestors who fought the riot police in running street battles in the centre of Kiev.
