I think like many travelers before me, I didn’t expect the Grand Canyon to be as vast and deep as it is. I was blown away the first time I ventured to the rim and looked across the miles of carved rock, which is still slowly being eroded away by the Colorado River. Just like anywhere in Canyon Country, the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular, revealing vibrant hues that one can’t see during the day. I only visited the South Rim, but want to visit the North Rim next time when it’s open! Which rim of the Grand Canyon do you prefer?
