Comparison is the thief of joy.
How many times do you feel like you look really good until you see another person (insert girl or guy) dressed up? How many times do you feel like you had a great vacation until you see someone else’s pics? How many times do you think your really happy until you look at someone else’s feed and see how exciting their life looks? How many times do you think you have been successful until you see a friend able to spend and do more? How many times do you look at people at a fitness photos and think, I will never look like that...even though you are working so hard?

This crazy digital world of photo manipulation and hiding sadness/insecurity behind fake happiness/looks is wide and deep. The joy is in the journey. Because once we get “there” don’t we usually think, ok what’s next?! Find the joy in the ups and downs, or all that will ever exist is the carrot you will never catch. And what fun is that? Carrots are delicious!!!!!!

re_turnipseed73 the only thing I've found worth comparing to is myself, and how I can better myself from the way I was the previous day. Not to disagree agree w/u Danica, you are very articulate w/ur choice of words. Even if I've made someone else feel good about themselves then my work is done.
