A lot of long, important hours have been spent in @samuelfrenchbookshop wandering and reading and learning. Hard to be in there today and see it going into its last month before closing. Every time a store this important closes its doors it’s a reminder that we have to support these places way more than we already do. Amazon is easy and fast and convenient but something of real value is lost in that kind of transaction. If you have a bookstore nearby let’s go there and commit to buying through them as much as possible. The experience is more rich and tangible and you may learn about something or someone new that could change your life or at the very least your day. Let’s please fight a little to live in a world where we bump into each other in real life as much as possible and exchange ideas and conversation in public places. Please? cool.
