“I was always just extremely uncomfortable. But the more comfortable I became, the more I could go out on the dance floor and have fun. Now I’m the embarrassing one out on the floor when no one else is dancing.” Actress @エレン・ペイジ talks about homophobia in Hollywood and finally feeling comfortable in her own skin in #PorterEdit this week. #LinkInBio

Was there homophobia when she was landing huge roles? I don't get it. Is it victimization when the it girl gets dropped for the next it girl? Only the elite have staying power. That's just how fickle Hollywood is. Late nineties through to now homosexuality has been a badge for producers and directors to say "look, I'm not homophobic!". So, is that victimization? Nevermind the audience who is dying to embrace the LGBTQ actors. I think that the only homophobe is the person who is scared of themselves.
