“Story time: ? To me, true beauty is knowing and embracing who you are, inside and out. I have never disliked the color of my skin. In fact, I appreciate the color of my skin because its unique and beautiful. I know back then, the trend was - “the fairer the skin, the more beautiful people see you”. That wasn’t the case for me and I didn’t believe that.
To me personally, I didn’t, not once, want to lighten my skin, I even didn't mind going a shade darker just cause I wanted the “tanned/amazonian” skin-look. To add to that, back then there weren't many foundations that cater to women of color until I discovered and found my love for @ボビイブラウン. Their extensive shade range made me feel good about choosing the right shade for me. I struggled so hard finding one for myself. I still remember my first Bobbi Brown compact foundation in the shade 5.5 that looks like my exact skin! To this day, I am still using the same shade and loving it!

I read "Bobbi Brown Teenage Beauty" in 2004 at age 14, when life was really hard. I was lonely, insecure, had horrible acne, and was very overweight and depressed. The advice in this book changed my life not only by empowering me through makeup technique, but through self-care and mental health promotion as well as a focus on women in the professional world. For the first time, makeup was about me and my inner beauty, not only about looking beautiful to men. My first products were the original lipstick in "rose" and moisture rich foundation in "porcelain" which made many of my worst days in high school more bearable. I still haven't found a line more in line with my core values or that really "gets it" when it comes to women who want to celebrate their natural beauty. In fact, I just refilled my "skin" foundation the other day! Thank you @bobbibrown for truly being #MyBobbiBrown 💕

First time I came to know about Bobbi brown was way back in 2006 in Singapore .seemed to be expensive n didn’t buy 😜later after about 2 yrs later had to been to Dubai n purchased 2 lipsticks n from there onwards there is no stopping as I love the brand so much Tat I have moisturise balms lipsticks compacts blush......... n so on

Since that time I'm using facial products & makeup, learned technics from you and are beautiful than ever. It was definitely love at first sight. Having tried so many different foundations, many of them with a too yellow undertone and I am a bit pinkish, I finally found the PERFECT foundation both in colour, texture and finish in the intensive skin serum foundation of Bobbi 💓💓!!
