A favourite from our library ,An Ideal for Living is an eclectic history of Joy Division. A compendium of all their gigs and tracks and everything else you might or might not know. We turned the pages to find out what was happening back on March 4th 1979- nothing much other than cutting four demos in one day at Eden studios (never been released ) and later that evening playing at the Marquee as support for The Cure. What would give to see that line up ?⁣
