I try to teach my kids to listen to different points of view with tolerance and patience, even though we might not agree with them. There’s an obvious debate to have about the park, but in my visit to their Hospital and Rescue Center I heard that it has rescued over 33,000 animals with the goals of rehabilitating and returning them back to the wild, it has a “never say no” policy when they receive a sick or injured animal and it works hand in hand with prestigious institutions such as the @montereybayaquarium and scientists from @noaa in interesting rescue and research projects. Here I am with Jody and Mark, both have been working there for over 20 years (ok, Mark for waaaayyy longer ?) / -Antes de leer esto quiero que sepan que sólo estoy compartiendo mi experiencia, esta publicación no es anuncio y no tengo ninguna afiliación a SeaWorld- En mi entrevista en el #LAtimes fui muy claro en mi postura acerca de #SeaWorld, por lo mismo me contactaron para que les diera la oportunidad de conocer su Hospital y Centro de Rescate Animal. Educo a mis hijos enseñándoles que debemos escuchar diferentes puntos de vista con tolerancia y paciencia, aunque no estemos de acuerdo con ellos. Desde luego que existe un debate acerca del parque, pero en mi visita al Centro, escuché que han rescatado a más de 33,000 animales con la meta de rehabilitarlos y regresarlos a su hábitat natural, que tienen una política de “nunca decir que no” al recibir animales enfermos o lastimados y que trabajan de la mano con instituciones de prestigio como el #montereybayaquarium y científicos de #noaa en proyectos interesantes de rescate e investigación. Aquí estoy con Jody y Mark, ambos han trabajado en el Centro de Rescate por 20 años. (Bueno, Mark por muuuuuuuchoo más tiempo ?)
