Visiting my friend’s cafe where I’ve performed before. This is her new lunch menu. She is making recipes that are more vegetarian and vegan friendly. The hardest is the broth since Japanese broth usually uses bonito. She’s managed to create flavors for her new broth only from vegetables and fermented sweet sake and miso. There is fish and egg on the rice which you can probably ask not to have. Delicate flavors. Feeling good. Looking forward to doing more events in this beautiful cafe space. @engawa_cafeandspace
