@sazizli & @nig_az Sounds like you guys also understand my frustration and can relate, though I’m not glad you also had to go through the same unfortunate experience!!! I messaged CX on Twitter before my flight and got in touch with their staff who then sent a message to the local airport staff so upon check-in, a manager came out to speak to me to offer her apologies & offered me a $100 USD voucher to be used at duty free or toward my next flight on CX, got me another aisle seat where the seat next to me was blocked off, & had her ground staff escort me through the fast lane at security and bring me to their lounge. So I’d say these perks somewhat made up for the fact that they bumped me off my seat since a set of twins needed that seat as not all seats have the capability to hook up a car seat on their B773. P.s. I’d say to screenshot your seat selection after it’s been confirmed next time you do online check-in so you have proof of your chosen preferred seat. (Hope you guys had a nice trip at the very least to where you were going) X

Terrible airline! My 15 hour direct flight from Toronto to Hong Kong turned into 25 hour flight, they made us sit on the plane for 5 hours before the take off, and because of this we had to fly into Osaka, Japan. Waited in the plane for another 1.5 hours once arrived into Japan for the flight crew to change and finally flew into Hong Kong. Missed my connecting flight to Phuket, oh and only fed us ONE MEAL the entire flight because the plane wasn’t fully stocked! You are joke, I will never fly with your shitty airline again!!!

This flight is a joke. And needs to be shut down. Worst company I have ever flew with. You guys have no customer service , no respect for anybody. Which flight boards passengers for 15 hour flight and then has no food to feed the passengers. And as soon as someone voices their concern you guys threaten to call security. You guys are GARBAGE.

@cathaypacific you guys are awful!!! What’s the point of opening online check-in 48 hours prior to departure and allowing us to choose our seat when you’re going to change our seat & give us something else?!?! I’m SO UPSET! Refuse to fly on CX next time!
