Being an Athlete Role Model for the @youtholympics for the @iwfnet and @オリンピック was one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever been given the pleasure to be a part of.

Prior to that, it’s no secret that the last two years had been a bit rough for me in weightlifting and I was in a bit of a funk, not really myself.
?
Going to these games and realizing the spirit of the Olympics and the reason we put our bodies through hard work is so much more than just the glory. I realized that even my ability to chase a dream like this is beyond what some can fathom. I realized that girls, boys, women and men of all ages are inspired to pick up a barbell because of finding me on social media. It is my goal to show people that if you put in the hard work in anything you do, life can turn out pretty well. I thank the country of Argentina for being some of the most welcoming humans I have ever come across in my traveling. I love you guys.
