In love with indigo? Join us this Sunday, March 10 for a special Creativity Lab celebrating the exhibition #OneEgngn. Children ages 8+ and their families can join Mary Adeogun (@m_adeo) for a beginners workshop on àdìrẹ, a storied Yorùbá textile from Nigeria involving resist patterns & indigo dyeing. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn àdìrẹ fundamentals, examine finished works, and create a small piece of their own. Fabric and dyeing materials will be provided. Spots are limited for this intimate, all-level Lab experience, so make sure to sign up starting at 3:45 pm in the 1st Floor #BKMEducation Gallery.
