I am the daughter of a former union leader who was murdered during the war in my country. For about 4 or 5 years, I had no job because I was strongly discriminated against on account of my union past. This continued until my colleagues from the women’s movement started to support me, and we organized ourselves as a group of labor rights advocates. I started looking for the necessary resources to strengthen ourselves progressively and with the primary purpose of reporting, in particular, employers and companies that violate labor rights.
