Peggy Weil focuses on the limits and opportunities of human perception in our extended landscapes. Her "3D Wallpaper," on view at LACMA, was originally part of a series of large-scale stereo anaglyph, photograph and lenticular works, including floor tiles! She is currently developing a series of underscapes; landscapes focused on the unseen processes of climate change.⠀

The "3D Wallpaper" is an invitation to “Look again, Look deeper” and a reminder that there is more than meets the eye. Visitors try to touch the space activated by the illusion; a musician even tried to “play” the points as if they were keys on a musical instrument. ⠀
