International Women’s Day is a symbol of solidarity, of awareness against bias and of equality. There is no one who represents this quite like @MonicaRamirezDC, who’s dedicated more than two decades to the eradication of gender-based violence and the promotion of gender equity. She founded @mujerxsrising, which protects and seeks justice for migrant women, and @campesinasunite, the first national farmworker women’s organization, while also working as the Gender Justice Campaigns Director for @domesticworkers. Monica, your work changes the lives of so many and inspires communities and generations to come. It is an honor to call you a friend and fellow Latina sister. ???? #InternationalWomensDay
