‘QUESTI SIAMO NOI’. Read the interview with @ethanjamesgreen by @chiaranonino in our March issue and via link in bio. ‘My photography career started on Instagram. It gave me a platform to show my work without having to compromise it. For the book, I had to shoot more images because almost everything had been already posted on Instagram. But this is one of the reasons I love digital. We took the pictures, and they were already online. All very much in the moment. Because there were a lot of people who were transitioning, I wanted the pictures to be published in that moment. The whole book actually is very much about a moment that happened and that’s over. But I wanted to somehow preserve it, and the black and white makes it last longer, I think. I wanted these people and the way they dress to last for a long time. Kind of a “new timeless.” #EthanJamesGreen
