#happywomensinternationalday ....... my beautiful mum back in the day. 1972. I was 2 when this pic was taken. Mum without being hyperbolic. You are everything to me. Your my mum. My role model. Simply put. Your my mum. I love you more than words can do justice. I know you are proud of me and that makes me makes so grateful and proud I did you justice. Especially from the place we came from. A tough place. A rough hood. Single mum. No money. 4 kids. What you did by yourself transcends self. You never wanted anything for yourself. Only safe harbor for your children. nothing materialistic was ever taught too us. All you ever said. “We are rich in love”. I’ve never forgotten those words mum. ....I have carried your belief systems to my own children. Just serve my kids. Hopefully they get it. You are a woman mum. A real woman. No entitlement. Just a need to watch. Protect and provide. Blows my mind how selfless you were and are.....No woman is your match. I have yet to meet one. Not even close. Probably why I’m single to much to expect. Your Mum knew what was important it seems. Being "rich in love," will always help parents carry the heaviest of loads. ❤️ Love your love and respect for your Mum and what she gave of herself for you and your siblings.
