pipsheldon AIRBNB you are a nightmare. For how progressive you appear and claim to be, your processes are archaic and outdated. I booked a holiday 6 months ago and since that time, my credit card had fraudulent activity so the bank cancelled the card. I tried to enter new payment details and couldn’t and spent hours on the phone with AirBnb and my host trying to resolve the issue. There is nowhere for a traveller to update payment details. So AirBnb went ahead and cancelled my holiday. They also refunded the money to the credit card that no longer exists, so I won’t ever receive that money. My bank tells me it’s AirBnb’s issue to resolve and they need to find another means to refund the money I’m owed. AirBnb say they won’t do this.
