“I read slowly, line by line with intention. It’s the smallest details in a book that excite me the most, so I’m always searching for them.”
Vicky, a major in English literature, is reading a book that explores the interpersonal dynamic between a mother and daughter in 1980s London. She bought the book from @strandbookstore.
“I’ve read this book twice and plan to write my thesis on it. The mother and daughter represent the complete opposite of my childhood. I love how foreign it all is to me. Like a mystery I get to pull apart.”
