As we near the first day of spring, we’ve got roses on the brain. We can’t wait for the first buds to open in the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden. And with a new documentary premiering at NYBG this Friday (still a few tickets left!) that details the incredible accomplishments of Beatrix Farrand, the designer of this historic garden, we thought a little preview of what’s to come couldn’t hurt. Farrand was one of the most influential and innovative garden designers of the early 20th century, and a woman pioneer in the field. Here’s to a beautiful season! #WomensHistoryMonth
