What appeals to you about the places you document?
Darius Vaheb: “There is a certain feeling that accompanies me when exploring places. Certain light situations create a sense of mystery and beauty that appeals to me very much. It’s hard to explain. Very recently I stumbled upon the Japanese aesthetic concept called “yūgen”. I think that describes it quite well.”
