pinklady2101 @jaimiealexander I suffer from fibromyalgia which includes a hell of a lot of muscle and joint pain/spasms. I only recently got into crystals and reiki in the last 6 months and I find the healing power that you can get from alternative therapies so much more beneficial than medication. I don’t care if some people say ‘well it’s the placebo effect’ unless you have been in chronic pain that makes you want to chop off a body part you will try just about anything for some kind of relief. Keep practising and don’t let anyone tell you it’s all ‘Mumbo Jumbo’ crystals are a gift from Mother Nature to heal us

theunburntash Just wanted to shoot you a message about those muscle spasms - I get them sometimes too! It's usually due to low magnesium or low potassium. Adding a low dose daily supplement of each eliminated the spasms, and actually helped with a low-lying muscle ache I didn't even know I had. When I asked about it, I was told that magnesium and potassium help with muscle function, and when the body is repairing damage to itself, sometimes it needs more.

arianna.santaclaus In response to your Instagram story, these spasms are actually muscle fasciculations. They are caused by anxiety, sleep deprivation, stress, anger, excessive physical efforts and caffeine. They are contractions of muscle fibers so nothing of really worrying. There isn't a real cure. They solve spontaneously. You could take medicines just in case of calcium, potassium or magnesium deficiency. @jaimiealexander I hope to have helped you 😘

julseybob Reiki is the most magical powerful wonder i have just discovered also. I am amazed at the inner peace it brings in todays chaotic world.. . My windowsill has a few crystals currently being cleansed under the supermoon in Scotland 😍

theunburntash Magnesium is also wonderful for post-workout recovery snacks/drinks, as it helps reduce inflammation, and calms the muscles. I am a big fan of using it after a lot of exertion, to prevent muscle cramps.
