Ariana Grande kicked off her 'Sweetener' tour in Albany last night. Fewer and fewer young stars today have the kind of distinctive aesthetic that can be reproduced en masse by fans, but Grande has dedicated years to perfecting how she has presented herself. Rolling Stone has always presented and written about the popular music of the time, it used to be rock, now it’s not. There are a lot of other publications out there y’all can read to find what you’re looking for. Yeah, I’m not an Ariana Grande fan myself, but hey, if they’re gonna write about her, let them write. The cream will always end up rising to the top and for now I’m sure we all have our own ways of finding out about new music and appreciating the artists we individually love and enjoy.

"Tattooed Heart"
You don't need a lot of money
Honey you don't have to play no games
All I need is all your loving
To get the blood rushing through my veins
I wanna say we're going steady
Like it's 1954,
No, it doesn't have to be forever
Just as long as I'm the name on your tattooed heart

This is what passes for talent nowadays. I remember when RS wrote about musicians. It’s pathetic to see them pandering to millennials in a desperate attempt to stay relevant

@lilmamaruth..... I’m truly humbled by your stern rebuke. You have convinced me. She is the greatest musician of the last 50 years. I have been blind.

@rollingstone you have terribly misrepresented your following base for too long with these posts. time to re-evaluate. read some comments.
